Article R343-28 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

A journalist’s access to the holding area must not interfere with its operation and the activities carried out there by State services, and third parties involved, in particular transport companies and infrastructure operators. Journalists must respect the safety instructions and conditions of the visit established by the person in charge of the waiting area or their representative.

L’accès d’un journaliste à la zone d’attente ne doit pas entraver son fonctionnement et les activités qu’y exercent les services de l’Etat, et les tiers qui y participent, notamment les entreprises de transport et les exploitants d’infrastructures. Le journaliste respecte les consignes de sécurité et les conditions de la visite établies par le responsable de la zone d’attente ou son représentant.
