Article R343-31 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

When a journalist holding the professional identity card referred to in article L. 7111-6 of the Labour Code accompanies a member of parliament, senator or representative to the European Parliament elected in France in accordance with article L. 343-5, the person in charge of the waiting area or his or her representative may only object to his or her entry for imperative reasons relating to security, good order, the public interest in the waiting area, and the interests of the persons detained, the staff and third parties present there.
The person in charge of the waiting area may, for these reasons, terminate the journalist’s presence there at any time.

Lorsqu’un journaliste titulaire de la carte d’identité professionnelle mentionnée à l’article L. 7111-6 du code du travail accompagne dans une zone d’attente un député, un sénateur ou un représentant au Parlement européen élu en France conformément à l’article L. 343-5, le responsable de la zone d’attente ou son représentant ne peut s’opposer à son entrée que pour des motifs impératifs liés à la sécurité, au bon ordre, à l’intérêt public dans la zone d’attente, et aux intérêts des personnes retenues, des personnels et des tiers qui y sont présents.
Le responsable de la zone d’attente peut, pour ces motifs, mettre fin à tout moment à la présence du journaliste dans ce lieu.
