Article R40-7 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

If this has not already been requested during the proceedings before the first president of the court of appeal, the applicant and the judicial agent of the State may have copies of the criminal proceedings delivered to them free of charge. Only their lawyers may obtain a copy of the file from the Commission’s secretariat.

Si cela n’a pas déjà été demandé lors de la procédure devant le premier président de la cour d’appel, le demandeur et l’agent judiciaire de l’Etat peuvent se faire délivrer sans frais copie des pièces de la procédure pénale. Seuls leurs avocats peuvent prendre communication du dossier au secrétariat de la commission.
