Article R411-1-4 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The Institut national de la propriété industrielle organises free public access in electronic format to:

1° The list of geographical indications defined in Article L. 721-2, accompanied by the date and reference of publication in the Bulletin officiel de la propriété industrielle of the decisions to approve the specifications and, where applicable, the decision to withdraw approval;

2° To specifications approved in accordance with article L. 721-3 ;

3° To the updated list of operators, mentioned in Article L. 721-5, of each geographical indication.

The terms and conditions of this access are laid down by decision of the Director General of the Institute.

L’Institut national de la propriété industrielle organise l’accès public, gratuit et sous format électronique :

1° A la liste des indications géographiques définies à l’article L. 721-2, accompagnées de la date et de la référence de publication au Bulletin officiel de la propriété industrielle des décisions d’homologation des cahiers des charges et, le cas échéant, de la décision de retrait d’homologation ;

2° Aux cahiers des charges homologués conformément à l’article L. 721-3 ;

3° A la liste actualisée des opérateurs, mentionnés à l’article L. 721-5, de chaque indication géographique.

Les modalités et conditions de cet accès sont fixées par décision du directeur général de l’institut.
