Article R4153-8 of the French Labour Code

The approval of the public house provided for in article L. 4153-6 is issued to the operator by the Prefect, for a renewable period of five years, after verification that the conditions under which the young worker is accommodated are such as to ensure his health, safety and physical or moral integrity.
The Prefect obtains the opinion of the Departmental Director of Health and Social Affairs.

L’agrément du débit de boissons prévu à l’article L. 4153-6 est délivré à l’exploitant par le préfet, pour une durée de cinq ans renouvelable, après vérification que les conditions d’accueil du jeune travailleur sont de nature à assurer sa santé, sa sécurité et son intégrité physique ou morale.
Le préfet recueille l’avis du directeur départemental des affaires sanitaires et sociales.
