Article R4211-1 of the French Labour Code

The provisions of this Title determine, pursuant to Article L. 4211-1, the rules to be complied with by the client undertaking the construction or fitting out of buildings intended to accommodate workers, whether or not such operations require a building permit.

Les dispositions du présent titre déterminent, en application de l’article L. 4211-1, les règles auxquelles se conforme le maître d’ouvrage entreprenant la construction ou l’aménagement de bâtiments destinés à recevoir des travailleurs, que ces opérations nécessitent ou non l’obtention d’un permis de construire.
