They are also marked by devices designed to prevent unauthorised workers from entering these areas.

Lorsqu’il n’est pas possible, compte tenu de la nature du travail, d’éviter des zones de danger comportant notamment des risques de chute de personnes ou des risques de chute d’objets, et même s’il s’agit d’activités ponctuelles d’entretien ou de réparation, ces zones sont signalées de manière visible.
Elles sont également matérialisées par des dispositifs destinés à éviter que les travailleurs non autorisés pénètrent dans ces zones.
