In establishments with at least fifty employees, the employer, after consulting the social and economic committee, provides them with catering facilities.
The number of employees and the fact that the threshold of fifty employees has been crossed are determined in accordance with the procedures set out in article L. 130-1 of the Social Security Code. When the company has several establishments, the number of employees is calculated for each establishment.
The catering area referred to in the first paragraph is equipped with a sufficient number of seats and tables and has a hot and cold drinking water tap for every ten users. It is equipped with a means of preserving or refrigerating food and drink and a facility for reheating dishes.
