Article R4251-6 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The objectives of protecting and restoring biodiversity are based on the identification of areas forming the green and blue grid defined by II and III of article L. 371-1 of the Environment Code and specified by article R. 371-19 of the same code.

They are determined in particular by an analysis of regional issues relating to the preservation and restoration to good condition of ecological continuities, which are prioritised and spatialised.

The objectives of preservation or restoration to good condition are specified for each of the sub-strata listed by article R. 371-27 of the Environment Code.

Les objectifs de protection et de la restauration de la biodiversité sont fondés sur l’identification des espaces formant la trame verte et bleue définis par le II et le III de l’article L. 371-1 du code de l’environnement et précisés par l’article R. 371-19 du même code.

Ils sont déterminés notamment par une analyse des enjeux régionaux relatifs à la préservation et à la remise en bon état des continuités écologiques, qui sont hiérarchisés et spatialisés.

Les objectifs de préservation ou de remise en bon état sont précisés pour chacune des sous-trames énumérées par l’article R. 371-27 du code de l’environnement.
