Article R4312-29 of the French Public Health Code

Nurses are prohibited from accepting a commission for any professional act whatsoever.

Nurses are forbidden to engage in any form of competition with other health professionals or any other natural or legal person. Competition is understood to mean intelligence between two or more persons with a view to obtaining advantages to the detriment of the patient or a third party.

In particular, any comparable practices with establishments manufacturing or selling products or services, materials or equipment necessary for the practice of his profession, ambulance or funeral companies, as well as with any health, medico-social or social establishment, are prohibited.

Il est interdit à l’infirmier d’accepter une commission pour quelque acte professionnel que ce soit.


Est interdite à l’infirmier toute forme de compérage avec d’autres professionnels de santé ou toute autre personne physique ou morale. On entend par compérage l’intelligence entre deux ou plusieurs personnes en vue d’avantages obtenus au détriment du patient ou d’un tiers.


Sont notamment interdites toutes pratiques comparables avec des établissements de fabrication ou de vente de produits ou de services, matériels, ou appareils nécessaires à l’exercice de sa profession, sociétés d’ambulance ou de pompes funèbres, ainsi qu’avec tout établissement de santé, médico-social ou social.
