Article R4411-44 of the French Labour Code

The body referred to in Article L. 4411-4 is empowered to provide any person who so requests and who is interested in the protection of workers, in particular the occupational physician and members of health and safety committees for working conditions, with the information it holds relating to:

1° The hazards of a substance or mixture containing it ;

2° The precautions to be taken in its use, storage, transport or disposal;

3° The nature and content of any hazardous substance contained in a mixture, excluding information covered by business secrecy.

Article R4411-44

L’organisme mentionné à l’article L. 4411-4 est habilité à fournir à toute personne qui en fait la demande et intéressée par la protection des travailleurs, notamment au médecin du travail et aux membres des comités d’hygiène et de sécurité des conditions de travail, les renseignements qu’il détient relatifs :

1° Aux dangers que présente une substance ou un mélange qui la contient ;

2° Aux précautions à prendre dans son emploi, son stockage, son transport ou son élimination ;

3° A la nature et à la teneur de toute substance dangereuse contenue dans un mélange, à l’exclusion des informations relevant du secret des affaires.
