Article R4422-16 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Corsican Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council is convened by its President when a request for an opinion is submitted to it by the President of the Executive Council or the President of the Assembly of Corsica.

It may also be convened no more than six times a year for the application of the provisions of the last paragraph of article L. 4422-36 and the last paragraph of article L. 4422-37, on the initiative of its chairman, its bureau or the majority of its members and after consultation with the chairman of the Executive Council, for a period not exceeding two days.

Article R4422-16

Le conseil économique, social, environnemental et culturel de Corse est convoqué par son président lorsqu’il est saisi d’une demande d’avis par le président du conseil exécutif ou le président de l’Assemblée de Corse.

Il peut également être convoqué six fois par an au plus pour l’application des dispositions du dernier alinéa de l’article L. 4422-36 et du dernier alinéa de l’article L. 4422-37, à l’initiative de son président, de son bureau ou de la majorité de ses membres et après consultation du président du conseil exécutif, pour une durée n’excédant pas deux jours.
