Article R4422-17 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

Requests for opinions are notified to the President of the Corsican Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council by the President of the Executive Council or by the President of the Assembly of Corsica.

These notifications are sent in time for the council to be convened under the conditions set out in Article R. 4422-15.

In addition to the drafts submitted to the Assembly of Corsica for consideration, the presentation reports and preparatory documents accompanying them are attached to the requests for opinions.

In addition, the President of the Economic, Social, Environmental and Cultural Council informs the President of the Executive Council and the President of the Assembly of Corsica of the matters referred to the Council. He may ask the President of the Executive Council for documents and studies on these issues.

Les demandes d’avis sont notifiées au président du conseil économique, social, environnemental et culturel de Corse par le président du conseil exécutif ou par le président de l’Assemblée de Corse.

Ces notifications sont adressées en temps utile pour que la convocation du conseil ait lieu dans les conditions fixées à l’article R. 4422-15.

Aux demandes d’avis sont joints, outre les projets soumis à l’examen de l’Assemblée de Corse, les rapports de présentation et documents préparatoires qui les accompagnent.

Par ailleurs, le président du conseil économique, social, environnemental et culturel informe le président du conseil exécutif et le président de l’Assemblée de Corse des questions dont le conseil se saisit. Il peut demander au président du conseil exécutif communication des documents et études sur ces questions.
