If a worker is found to be suffering from an infection or disease listed in an occupational disease table and which may be the result of exposure to biological agents, all workers likely to have been exposed at the same workplace will undergo a medical examination, possibly accompanied by additional tests.
If the infection or disease is not listed in an occupational disease table, the occupational physician may suggest that other workers who have been similarly exposed should undergo medical surveillance.
A new assessment of the risk of exposure is also carried out in accordance with the provisions of Chapter III.
