Article R444-50 of the French Commercial code

The service of judicial or extrajudicial documents from abroad gives rise to the collection by the bailiff of a fixed fee. The documents served are forwarded to the bailiff together with the corresponding payments, except where the applicant is in receipt of legal aid.

La signification d’actes judiciaires ou extrajudiciaires en provenance de l’étranger donne lieu à la perception par l’huissier de justice d’un droit forfaitaire. La transmission qui lui est faite des actes objet de la signification est accompagnée des paiements correspondants, sauf le cas où le requérant bénéficie de l’assistance judiciaire.
