Article R4451-127 of the French Labour Code

The Institut de Radioprotection et de Sûreté Nucléaire is responsible for:

1° Managing the information and monitoring system for exposure to ionising radiation and organising the access required to apply the provisions of section 6 of this chapter;

2° Centralising, verifying and keeping, for at least fifty years after the last exposure, all the results of individual dosimetric monitoring of workers’ exposure collected in application of the provisions of article R. 4451-66 as well as the administrative data relating to each worker supplied by the employer, with a view in particular to using them for statistical or epidemiological purposes.

L’Institut de radioprotection et de sûreté nucléaire est chargé :


1° D’assurer la gestion du système d’information et de surveillance de l’exposition aux rayonnements ionisants et d’organiser les accès nécessaires pour l’application des dispositions de la section 6 du présent chapitre ;


2° De centraliser, vérifier et conserver au moins cinquante ans après la dernière exposition l’ensemble des résultats de la surveillance dosimétrique individuelle de l’exposition des travailleurs recueillies en application des dispositions de l’article R. 4451-66 ainsi que les données administratives relatives à chaque travailleur fournies par l’employeur, en vue notamment de les exploiter à des fins statistiques ou épidémiologiques.
