A worker’s exposure to ionising radiation does not exceed:
1° For the whole body, the exposure limit value of 20 millisieverts over twelve consecutive months, assessed on the basis of the effective dose;
2° For organs or tissues, the following exposure limit values, assessed on the basis of the corresponding equivalent doses:
a) 500 millisieverts over twelve consecutive months, for the extremities and the skin. For the skin, this limit applies to the average dose on any surface of 1 cm2, whatever the exposed surface;
b) 20 millisieverts over twelve consecutive months, for the lens of the eye.
