Article R4451-63 of the French Labour Code

A joint order by the Ministers for Labour and Agriculture determines:

1° The industrial radiology equipment referred to in Article R. 4451-61, taking into account the nature of the activity carried out, the characteristics and, where applicable, the methods of use of the equipment;

2° The content and duration of the training of workers called upon to handle this equipment, taking into account the nature of the activity carried out and the characteristics of the equipment used;

3° The qualifications of the persons responsible for the training;

4° The methods of testing knowledge and the conditions for issuing the certificate of aptitude;

5° The period of validity of this certificate and the conditions for its renewal.

Un arrêté conjoint des ministres chargés du travail et de l’agriculture détermine :


1° Les appareils de radiologie industrielle mentionnés à l’article R. 4451-61, compte tenu de la nature de l’activité exercée, des caractéristiques et, le cas échéant, des modalités de mise en œuvre de l’appareil ;


2° Le contenu et la durée de la formation des travailleurs appelés à manipuler ces appareils, en tenant compte de la nature de l’activité exercée et des caractéristiques de l’appareil utilisé ;


3° La qualification des personnes chargées de la formation ;


4° Les modalités de contrôle des connaissances et les conditions de délivrance du certificat d’aptitude ;


5° La durée de validité de ce certificat et les conditions de son renouvellement.
