Article R4462-28 of the French Labour Code

Pursuant to Article L. 4141-2, ongoing training for workers assigned to pyrotechnic activities and to activities involving the internal transport of explosive substances or objects, including heads of department, workshop, laboratory or site managers mentioned in Article R. 4462-26, is provided during normal working hours.

The aim of this training is to maintain and improve the knowledge of the persons concerned in the field of pyrotechnic risks and their prevention. Each worker must attend one of the training sessions at least once a quarter, during which various subjects relating to improving safety are covered. This frequency may be adapted for workers who are not permanently assigned to pyrotechnic operations.

A report is drawn up for each of these sessions, indicating the subjects dealt with, to which is attached the attendance list signed by the participants.

En application de l’article L. 4141-2, une formation continue des travailleurs affectés aux activités pyrotechniques ainsi qu’aux activités de transport interne de substances ou objets explosifs, y compris les chefs de service, chefs d’atelier, de laboratoire ou de chantier mentionnés à l’article R. 4462-26, est effectuée pendant l’horaire normal de travail.

Cette formation vise à maintenir et à perfectionner les connaissances des intéressés dans le domaine des risques pyrotechniques et de leur prévention. Chaque travailleur participe au moins une fois par trimestre à l’une des séances de formation au cours desquelles divers sujets concernant l’amélioration de la sécurité sont traités. Cette périodicité peut être adaptée pour des travailleurs qui ne sont pas affectés de façon permanente à des opérations pyrotechniques.

Un compte rendu indiquant les sujets traités auquel est annexée la liste d’émargement, signée par les participants, est établi pour chacune de ces séances.
