Article R4512-15 of the French Labour Code

Before the start of the work and on the site where it is to be carried out, the head of the external company shall inform all the workers assigned to the work of the specific hazards to which they are exposed and of the preventive measures taken in application of this Title.
In particular, he shall specify the danger zones and the means adopted to mark them. He shall explain the use of collective and individual protective devices.
It shows these workers the routes to take to access and leave the work site, to access the premises and installations provided for them and, where appropriate, the emergency exits.

Article R4512-15

Avant le début des travaux et sur le lieu même de leur exécution, le chef de l’entreprise extérieure fait connaître à l’ensemble des travailleurs qu’il affecte à ces travaux les dangers spécifiques auxquels ils sont exposés et les mesures de prévention prises en application du présent titre.
Il précise notamment les zones dangereuses ainsi que les moyens adoptés pour les matérialiser. Il explique l’emploi des dispositifs collectifs et individuels de protection.
Il montre à ces travailleurs les voies à emprunter pour accéder au lieu d’intervention et le quitter, pour accéder aux locaux et installations mis à leur disposition ainsi que, s’il y a lieu, les issues de secours.
