Article R4514-1 of the French Labour Code

The social and economic committees of the user undertaking and of the external undertakings are informed:
1° Of the date of the prior joint inspection by the managers of the undertakings concerned, as soon as they are aware of it and no later than three days before it takes place. In the event of an emergency, they will be informed immediately;
2° Of the date of periodic coordination inspections and meetings, no later than three days before they are due to take place. In urgent cases, they are informed immediately;
3° Of any urgent and serious situation referred to in 3° of Article L. 4614-6.

Les comités sociaux et économiques de l’entreprise utilisatrice et des entreprises extérieures sont informés :
1° De la date de l’inspection commune préalable par les chefs des entreprises intéressées, dès qu’ils en ont connaissance et au plus tard trois jours avant qu’elle ait lieu. En cas d’urgence, ils sont informés sur le champ ;
2° De la date des inspections et réunions périodiques de coordination, au plus tard trois jours avant qu’elles aient lieu. En cas d’urgence, ils sont informés sur le champ ;
3° De toute situation d’urgence et de gravité mentionnée au 3° de l’article L. 4614-6.
