Le maître d’ouvrage, ou l’entrepreneur principal en cas de sous-traitance, mentionne dans les documents remis aux entrepreneurs, que le chantier sur lequel ils seront appelés à travailler en cas de conclusion d’un contrat est soumis à l’obligation de plan général de coordination en matière de sécurité et de protection de la santé.
