Article R4534-19 of the French Labour Code

A register of observations is made available to employees and members of the social and economic committee.
The latter shall record their observations concerning the condition of the equipment and installations, the existence of causes likely to compromise their solidity and the application of the provisions of this chapter.
The employer may also record his observations.

Un registre d’observations est mis à la disposition des travailleurs et des membres du comité social et économique.
Ceux-ci y consignent leurs observations relatives à l’état du matériel et des installations, l’existence de causes susceptibles d’en compromettre la solidité et l’application des dispositions du présent chapitre.
L’employeur peut également y consigner ses observations.
