I.-Any worker who carries out live working must hold a specific authorisation issued by the employer after obtaining a document issued by an approved training organisation certifying that he has acquired the necessary knowledge and skills. This specific authorisation is issued, maintained or renewed in accordance with the procedures contained in the standards referred to in article R. 4544-3.
II – Prior to any training, the employer must ensure that the workers undergoing the training referred to in I have the required professional skills and experience in the field of electrical operations.
III-The training organisations mentioned in I are approved for a period of no more than four years by the minister responsible for labour, in the light of a technical report drawn up by a competent expert body and after consultation with the Conseil d’Orientation des Conditions de Travail.
IV – An order by the Minister for Employment determines the procedure and conditions for issuing or withdrawing approval for training organisations and designates the expert body mentioned in III responsible for drawing up a technical report on any application for approval.
