Article R4623-2 of the French Labour Code

Only a doctor who meets one of the following conditions may practise occupational medicine:

1° Be qualified in occupational medicine ;

2° Have been authorised, on an exceptional basis, to continue practising as an occupational physician in application ofarticle 28 of law no. 98-535 of 1st July 1998 orarticle 189 of law no. 2002-73 of 17th January 2002 on social modernisation;

3° Hold a qualification in occupational health and risk prevention medicine.

Seul un médecin remplissant l’une des conditions suivantes peut pratiquer la médecine du travail :

1° Etre qualifié en médecine du travail ;

2° Avoir été autorisé, à titre exceptionnel, à poursuivre son exercice en tant que médecin du travail en application de l’article 28 de la loi n° 98-535 du 1er juillet 1998 ou de l’article 189 de la loi n° 2002-73 du 17 janvier 2002 de modernisation sociale ;

3° Etre titulaire d’une capacité en médecine de santé au travail et de prévention des risques professionnels.
