Article R4623-22 of the French Labour Code

The Labour Inspector’s decision is reasoned. It is notified by any means capable of giving it a date certain:

1° To the employer ;

2° To the company doctor;

3° In the case of an autonomous service, to the social and economic committee;

4° In the case of an inter-company service, to the board of directors and, depending on the case, either to the inter-company committee or to the control commission.

La décision de l’inspecteur du travail est motivée. Elle est notifiée par tout moyen permettant de lui conférer une date certaine :

1° A l’employeur ;

2° Au médecin du travail ;

3° Dans le cas d’un service autonome, au comité social et économique ;

4° Dans le cas d’un service interentreprises, au conseil d’administration et, selon le cas, soit au comité interentreprises, soit à la commission de contrôle.
