Article R4624-13 of the French Labour Code

At the end of any information and prevention visit, if it has not been carried out by the occupational physician, the health professional who carried out this visit may, if he considers it necessary, immediately refer the worker to the occupational physician in compliance with the protocol provided for in the third paragraph of article L. 4624-1. The purpose of this new visit, carried out by the occupational physician, is in particular to propose, if necessary, adaptations to the position or assignment to other positions.

A l’issue de toute visite d’information et de prévention, si elle n’a pas été réalisée par le médecin du travail, le professionnel de santé qui a effectué cette visite peut, s’il l’estime nécessaire, orienter sans délai le travailleur vers le médecin du travail dans le respect du protocole prévu au troisième alinéa de l’article L. 4624-1. Cette nouvelle visite, effectuée par le médecin du travail, a notamment pour objet de proposer, si elles sont nécessaires, des adaptations du poste ou l’affectation à d’autres postes.
