Article R4641-7 of the French Labour Code

In addition to the tasks set out in article L. 4641-2-1, the National Committee for Prevention and Health at Work:

1° Contributes to defining the French position on strategic issues at European or international level in the field of health and safety at work;

2° Participates in coordinating and informing the regional standing advisory groups on working conditions referred to in articles R. 4641-21 et seq;

3° Draws up an annual summary of changes in working conditions.

4° Formulates opinions or proposals on specific issues included in its annual work programme or dealt with at the request of the Minister responsible for labour, or on any other subject falling within its remit.

En complément des missions prévues à l’article L. 4641-2-1, le comité national de prévention et de santé au travail :


1° Contribue à la définition de la position française sur les questions stratégiques au niveau européen ou international en matière de santé et de sécurité au travail ;


2° Participe à la coordination et l’information des groupes permanents régionaux d’orientation des conditions de travail mentionnés aux articles R. 4641-21 et suivants ;


3° Elabore une synthèse annuelle de l’évolution des conditions de travail.


4° Formule des avis ou des propositions sur les questions particulières figurant dans son programme de travail annuel ou traitées à la demande du ministre chargé du travail, ou encore sur tout autre thème entrant dans son domaine de compétences.
