As soon as it has been established that the workers are in the dangerous situation referred to in Article L. 4721-8, the Labour Inspectorate monitoring officer referred to in Article L. 8112-1 shall give the employer formal notice to remedy the situation. This formal notice takes place in the following two stages:
1° As soon as the dangerous situation has been identified, the labour inspection officer referred to in article L. 8112-1 will ask the employer to send him in writing, within a period of fifteen days, an action plan containing the appropriate corrective measures that he is taking from among those provided for in articles R. 4412-66 to R. 4412-71 in order to remedy the situation, as well as a provisional timetable. At the same time, if the circumstances so require, it shall notify him of the obligation to take provisional measures to protect the health and safety of workers immediately;
2° Within fifteen days of receiving this action plan, the Labour Inspectorate monitoring officer mentioned in Article L. 8112-1 will give the employer formal notice to implement the corrective measures. He will set a deadline for completion and, where appropriate, communicate his observations concerning the content of the action plan.
