Accreditations are issued by the French Accreditation Committee or by any other accreditation body designated pursuant to Regulation (EC) No 765/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 9 July 2008 setting out the requirements for accreditation and market surveillance relating to the marketing of products.
A body from a Member State of the European Union not established in France may occasionally provide the services referred to in Article L. 4722-1 if it has accreditation attesting that it has been recognised as competent to implement any standardised or similar method applicable on national territory in the area of competence in which it is involved.
