Article R4733-4 of the French Labour Code

When the decision has been given directly to the employer’s representative or to the head of establishment’s representative, a copy is sent to the employer or to the head of establishment by any means that provides a certain date of receipt within the period mentioned in the second paragraph of article R. 4733-3.

Lorsque la décision a été remise directement au représentant de l’employeur ou à celui du chef d’établissement, copie en est adressée à l’employeur ou au chef d’établissement par tout moyen donnant date certaine à sa réception dans le délai mentionné au deuxième alinéa de l’article R. 4733-3.
