Article R49-8-2 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

I.-The operator of a public land transport service shall submit to the representative of the State in the department in which it has its registered office and, in Paris, to the police prefect, a file describing the training and organisation arrangements provided for in article R. 49-8-1.

This file includes the following information:

1° The name of the organisation or person providing the training;

2° The content and duration of the training;

3° A description of the permanent liaison arrangements referred to in II of Article R. 49-8-1;

4° An inventory and description of the means of transmission with which the officers are equipped.

II.-The representative of the State in the department and in Paris the Prefect of Police approves by order the content of the file mentioned in I above if he considers that the provisions it contains guarantee the proper conduct of identity records.

Article R49-8-2

I.-L’exploitant d’un service public de transport terrestre soumet au représentant de l’Etat dans le département dans lequel il a son siège et à Paris, au préfet de police, un dossier décrivant les modalités de la formation et de l’organisation prévues à l’article R. 49-8-1.

Ce dossier comprend les renseignements suivants :

1° La dénomination de l’organisme ou de la personne dispensant la formation ;

2° Le contenu et la durée de la formation ;

3° La description des modalités de la liaison permanente mentionnée au II de l’article R. 49-8-1 ;

4° L’inventaire et la description des moyens de transmission dont sont dotés les agents.

II.-Le représentant de l’Etat dans le département et à Paris le préfet de police approuve par arrêté le contenu du dossier mentionné au I ci-dessus s’il estime que les dispositions qu’il prévoit garantissent le bon déroulement des relevés d’identité.
