Article R50-63 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The file shall retain for a period of three years information relating to the recordings and interrogations to which it is subject, specifying the capacity of the person or authority who carried out the operation.

This information may only be consulted by the magistrate in charge of the department managing the file or, with his authorisation, by persons authorised by him.

It may be used for statistical purposes.

Le fichier conserve pendant une durée de trois ans les informations relatives aux enregistrements et interrogations dont il fait l’objet, en précisant la qualité de la personne ou de l’autorité ayant procédé à l’opération.


Ces informations ne peuvent être consultées que par le magistrat chef du service gestionnaire du fichier ou, avec son autorisation, par les personnes qu’il habilite.


Elles peuvent donner lieu à des exploitations statistiques.
