Article R512-21 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The Confédération nationale du crédit mutuel draws up and keeps up to date the list of caisses, credit institutions and finance companies affiliated to it.

The Board of Directors of the Confédération nationale du crédit mutuel may only decide to include a credit union, credit institution or finance company on the list if the conditions set out in Article R. 512-20 are met and the inclusion requested is compatible with the proper general organisation of credit mutuel and its place in the country’s financial organisation.

The decision of the Board of Directors is notified to the applicant and, where applicable, to the relevant territorial federation within eight days.

Article R512-21

La Confédération nationale du crédit mutuel établit et tient à jour la liste des caisses, des établissements de crédit et des sociétés de financement qui lui sont affiliés.

L’inscription sur la liste ne peut être prononcée par le conseil d’administration de la Confédération nationale du crédit mutuel que lorsque les conditions prévues à l’article R. 512-20 sont remplies et que l’inscription demandée est compatible avec la bonne organisation générale du crédit mutuel et sa place dans l’organisation financière du pays.

La décision du conseil d’administration est notifiée au demandeur et, le cas échéant, à la fédération territorialement compétente dans un délai de huit jours.
