Article R5123-41 of the French Labour Code

This degressive allowance is paid for a maximum of two years. Its amount, duration and the rules for determining the respective contributions of the State and the employer to its financing, as well as the conditions of membership and the additional guarantees from which the employees concerned benefit, particularly in the event of redundancy, during the period of payment or at its end, are set by joint order of the ministers responsible for employment and the budget.

Cette allocation dégressive est versée pendant une durée maximale de deux ans. Son montant, sa durée et les règles de détermination de la participation respective de l’Etat et de l’employeur à son financement, ainsi que les conditions d’adhésion et les garanties complémentaires dont bénéficient les salariés intéressés, notamment en cas de licenciement, pendant la période de versement ou à son issue, sont fixés par arrêté conjoint des ministres chargés de l’emploi et du budget.
