Article R5125-43 of the French Public Health Code

The post-death manager is the pharmacist who keeps the pharmacy of a deceased pharmacist proprietor open under the conditions set out in article L. 5125-21. He is chosen from the categories of pharmacists provided for in 1°, a of 2° and 3° of article R. 5125-39 and, as soon as he has accepted the duties entrusted to him by the heirs, requests authorisation from the general director of the regional health agency.

Le gérant après décès est le pharmacien qui maintient ouverte, dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 5125-21, l’officine d’un pharmacien titulaire décédé. Il est choisi parmi les catégories de pharmaciens prévues au 1°, au a du 2° et au 3° de l’article R. 5125-39 et sollicite, dès qu’il a accepté les fonctions qui lui sont confiées par les héritiers, l’autorisation du directeur général de l’agence régionale de santé.
