A prescription containing a prescription for medicinal products classified as narcotics or subject to narcotics regulations may only be filled in its entirety or for the entire portion of the treatment if it is presented to the pharmacist within three days of the date on which it was issued.
When the medicinal products mentioned in the previous paragraph are prescribed with a view to a scheduled operation, the prescription may only be filled in its entirety or for the entirety of the first part of the treatment if it is presented to the pharmacist between the third day prior to the operation and the three days following the planned date of discharge from the health establishment.
In the case of fractional dispensing, the prescription may only be filled for the entire fraction if it is presented within three days of the end of the previous fraction.
If the prescription is presented after the deadlines mentioned in the previous paragraphs, it can only be filled for the duration of the prescription or the remaining part of the treatment.
A new prescription may not be issued or filled by the same practitioners during the period already covered by a previous prescription prescribing such medicinal products, unless the prescriber decides otherwise by express mention on the prescription.
