Article R5133-4 of the French Labour Code

When the return to work results from the conclusion of one or more open-ended employment contracts or one or more fixed-term employment contracts of more than six months, the premium is, at the request of the person concerned, paid in advance from the end of the first month of employment.
In other cases, the bonus is paid from the end of the fourth month of employment.

Lorsque la reprise d’activité résulte de la conclusion d’un ou plusieurs contrats de travail à durée indéterminée ou d’un ou plusieurs contrats de travail à durée déterminée de plus de six mois, la prime est, à la demande de l’intéressé, versée par anticipation dès la fin du premier mois d’activité.
Dans les autres cas, la prime est versée à compter de la fin du quatrième mois d’activité professionnelle.
