Article R5134-4-2 of the French Public Health Code

Where the pharmacist dispenses contraceptives pursuant to article R. 5134-4-1 :

1° He may not, in application of article R. 5132-12 and under the conditions set out in paragraph 1 of article R. 5132-14, dispense on a single occasion a quantity of medicinal products corresponding to a treatment period of more than three months ;

2° It must register this dispensing under the conditions set out in paragraph 2 of article R. 5132-14 ;

3° In addition to the compulsory information provided for in article R. 5132-13, the original prescription must bear the words “additional dispensing of oral contraceptives” and specify the duration.

Article R5134-4-2

Lorsque le pharmacien dispense des contraceptifs en application de l’article R. 5134-4-1 :

1° Il ne peut, en application de l’article R. 5132-12 et dans les conditions fixées à l’alinéa 1 de l’article R. 5132-14, délivrer en une seule fois une quantité de médicaments correspondant à une durée de traitement supérieure à trois mois ;

2° Il doit procéder à l’enregistrement de cette délivrance dans les conditions fixées à l’alinéa 2 de l’article R. 5132-14 ;

3° Il doit porter sur l’original de l’ordonnance, outre les mentions obligatoires prévues à l’article R. 5132-13, la mention ” dispensation supplémentaire de contraceptifs oraux ” et en préciser la durée.
