Article R515-16 of the French Monetary and Financial Code

The management and administration of the agency are entrusted to a Director General appointed for three years by decree.

The Director General represents and commits the agency. He appoints the staff and sets the conditions of their employment. He is empowered to delegate any powers necessary for the running of the agency.

He exercises the powers delegated to him by the Board of Directors.

La direction et l’administration de l’agence sont confiées à un directeur général nommé pour trois ans par décret.

Le directeur général représente et engage l’agence. Il nomme le personnel et fixe les conditions de son emploi. Il est habilité à donner toute délégation nécessaire au fonctionnement de l’agence.

Il exerce les compétences qui lui sont déléguées par le conseil d’administration.
