Article R521-17 of the French Commercial code

On receipt of the documents referred to in articles R. 521-13 and R. 521-14, the registrar enters the formality in the register, noting the changes recorded on the forms and the date of the amending formality.

The registrar issues the applicant with a copy of the form.
The registrar will issue the applicant with a receipt summarising the amendments, the serial number of the original registration and the date of the formality or, where two forms have been submitted, will return the remaining form to which he will affix the number of the formality and its date.

The amended registration will take effect on the date of the original registration.
The amending registration takes effect on the date on which it was duly completed.

A réception des pièces mentionnées aux articles R. 521-13 et R. 521-14, le greffier procède à l’inscription de la formalité en reportant sur le registre les modifications inscrites sur les bordereaux ainsi que la date de la formalité modificative.

Les justificatifs visés à l’article R. 521-14 ainsi que l’un des bordereaux, si deux exemplaires ont été remis, sont annexés à l’inscription.

Le greffier délivre au requérant un récépissé récapitulant les modifications ainsi que le numéro d’ordre de l’inscription initiale, la date de la formalité ou, lorsque deux bordereaux ont été remis, il restitue le bordereau restant sur lequel il appose le numéro de la formalité et sa date.

L’inscription modificative prend effet à la date à laquelle elle a été régulièrement accomplie.
