Article R521-20 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

In addition to the reimbursement of their travel expenses, calculated in accordance with the conditions laid down for travel by civil servants for the Ministry of Justice, each person appointed as an ad hoc administrator, when included on the list provided for in article R. 343-2:
1° An allowance to cover the costs incurred in assisting and representing the minor in proceedings relating to the examination of his/her asylum application by the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons, in application of the provisions of this book;
2° An allowance to cover the costs incurred in assisting and representing the minor in proceedings relating to the examination of his/her asylum application before the National Court of Asylum and before the Council of State, in application of the provisions of this book.
An indemnity for failure to act is allocated when the assignment could not be carried out for a reason unrelated to the ad hoc administrator, on the basis of a report indicating the diligence accomplished, under the conditions defined in article R. 53-8 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
The amount of the indemnities is set by order of the Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Justice, and the Minister responsible for the budget.

Article R521-20

En plus du remboursement de ses frais de déplacement, calculés dans les conditions fixées pour les déplacements des personnels civils de l’Etat pour le ministère de la justice, il est alloué à chaque personne désignée en qualité d’administrateur ad hoc lorsqu’elle figure sur la liste prévue à l’article R. 343-2 :
1° Une indemnité au titre des frais exposés pour l’assistance du mineur et sa représentation dans la procédure relative à l’examen de sa demande d’asile par l’Office français de protection des réfugiés et des apatrides en application des dispositions du présent livre ;
2° Une indemnité au titre des frais exposés pour l’assistance du mineur et sa représentation dans les procédures relatives à l’examen de sa demande d’asile devant la Cour nationale du droit d’asile et devant le Conseil d’Etat, en application des dispositions du présent livre.
Une indemnité de carence est allouée lorsque la mission n’a pu être réalisée pour une cause étrangère à l’administrateur ad hoc, sur la base d’un rapport indiquant les diligences accomplies, dans les conditions définies à l’article R. 53-8 du code de procédure pénale.
Le montant des indemnités est fixé par arrêté du garde des sceaux, ministre de la justice, et du ministre chargé du budget.
