Article R53-21-24 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

The magistrates of the public prosecutor’s office and any official of the public prosecutor’s office specially authorised by the public prosecutor shall exercise the powers conferred on this magistrate for the application of this title.

Magistrates of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and any official of the Public Prosecutor’s Office specially authorised by the Public Prosecutor shall exercise the powers conferred on that magistrate for the application of this Title.

The same shall apply to the powers conferred on the department managing the file, for the magistrates placed under its authority and the officials specially authorised by it.

Les magistrats du parquet et tout fonctionnaire du parquet spécialement habilité par le procureur de la République exercent les compétences reconnues à ce magistrat pour l’application du présent titre.

Les magistrats du parquet général et tout fonctionnaire du parquet général spécialement habilité par le procureur général exercent les compétences reconnues à ce magistrat pour l’application du présent titre.

Il en est de même pour celles reconnues au service gestionnaire du fichier, pour les magistrats placés sous son autorité et les fonctionnaires spécialement habilités par lui.
