Article R53-36 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

When one of the points in the territory where the hearing, questioning or confrontation is carried out is outside the jurisdiction of the court, the public prosecutor within whose jurisdiction that point is located shall be informed in advance.

Lorsque l’un des points du territoire où sont effectués l’audition, l’interrogatoire ou la confrontation se trouve hors du ressort de la juridiction, le procureur de la République dans le ressort duquel ce point est situé en est préalablement informé.
