Article R532-15 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

Communications with claimants are made by ordinary letter, with the exception of the notice of receipt provided for in article R. 532-9, the order closing the investigation provided for in article R. 532-21, the information provided for in article R. 532-26, the notice of hearing provided for in article R. 532-32 and of the decision itself, notified by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.
Without prejudice to the provisions of the first paragraph of article R. 532-16, the information provided for in article R. 532-26 is sent to the applicant by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt.

Les communications avec les requérants sont effectuées au moyen de lettres simples, à l’exception de l’avis de réception prévu à l’article R. 532-9, de l’ordonnance de clôture de l’instruction prévue à l’article R. 532-21, de l’information prévue à l’article R. 532-26, de l’avis d’audience prévu à l’article R. 532-32 et de la décision elle-même, notifiés par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception.
Sans préjudice des dispositions du premier alinéa de l’article R. 532-16, l’information prévue à l’article R. 532-26 est adressée au requérant par lettre recommandée avec demande d’avis de réception.
