Article R532-50 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

The panel will rule on the appeal, on the basis of the documents in the file and the observations presented orally by the parties, under the conditions laid down by Articles R. 532-42 and R. 532-43.
When appeals are lodged with it against decisions by the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons granting or refusing asylum, it will rule pursuant to Article L. 511-1 and, in the alternative, Article L. 512-1.

La formation de jugement se prononce sur le recours, en fonction des pièces du dossier et des observations présentées oralement par les parties, dans les conditions prévues par les articles R. 532-42 et R. 532-43.
Lorsqu’elle est saisie de recours formés contre les décisions de l’Office français de protection des réfugiés et apatrides accordant ou refusant le bénéfice de l’asile, elle statue en application de l’article L. 511-1 et, à titre subsidiaire, de l’article L. 512-1.
