Article R5421-5 of the French General Code of Local Authorities

The Board of Directors shall, through its deliberations, settle matters within the competence of the interdepartmental institution.

It may delegate some of its powers to the executive committee under the conditions set out in article L. 3211-2.

The deliberations of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee are sent to the Prefect of the department in which the institution has its registered office under the conditions and for the purposes set out in articles L. 3132-1, L. 3132-2 et L. 3132-3.

Le conseil d’administration règle par ses délibérations les affaires de la compétence de l’institution interdépartementale.

Il peut déléguer au bureau une partie de ses attributions dans les conditions prévues à l’article L. 3211-2.

Les délibérations du conseil d’administration et du bureau sont transmises au préfet du département siège de l’institution dans les conditions et aux fins prévues aux articles L. 3132-1, L. 3132-2 et L. 3132-3.
