Article R597-1 of the French Code governing the entry and residence of foreign nationals and the right of asylum

A foreign national arriving or staying in the French Southern and Antarctic Lands and applying for asylum under article L. 597-1 shall submit in support of their application:
1° Information relating to their civil status and, where applicable, that of their spouse and dependent children;
2° The documents mentioned in article L. 367-1, proving that he/she has entered the French Southern and Antarctic Lands legally or, failing this, any information relating to the conditions of his/her entry and travel routes from his/her country of origin.

Article R597-1

L’étranger qui arrive ou séjourne dans les Terres australes et antarctiques françaises et demande l’asile en application de l’article L. 597-1 présente à l’appui de sa demande :
1° Les indications relatives à son état civil et, le cas échéant, à celui de son conjoint et de ses enfants à charge ;
2° Les documents mentionnés à l’article L. 367-1, justifiant qu’il est entré régulièrement dans les Terres australes et antarctiques françaises ou, à défaut, toutes indications portant sur les conditions de son entrée et ses itinéraires de voyage depuis son pays d’origine.
