Article R61-3 of the French Code of Criminal Procedure

An individual file concerning the person sentenced to socio-judicial supervision is kept by the clerk of the sentence enforcement judge.

This file includes copies of documents from the proceedings leading to the sentence and which are necessary for monitoring the measure.

It also includes reports drawn up and decisions taken during the course of the measure and, where applicable, during the enforcement of the custodial sentence.

Un dossier individuel concernant la personne condamnée à un suivi socio-judiciaire est tenu par le greffier du juge de l’application des peines.

Ce dossier comprend des copies des documents issus de la procédure ayant abouti à la condamnation et qui sont nécessaires au suivi de la mesure.

Il comprend également les rapports établis et les décisions prises pendant le déroulement de la mesure et, le cas échéant, au cours de l’exécution de la peine privative de liberté.
