Article R613-29 of the French Intellectual Property Code

The application for an operating licence provided for in Article L. 613-18 (paragraph 4) is sent to the Minister responsible for industrial property.

It states:

1° The surname, first name and profession of the applicant and, if applicable, the name of the person responsible for representing or assisting him;

2° The patent for which the licence is requested;

3° Proof of the applicant’s qualification, from a technical, industrial and financial point of view, for the exploitation of the patent in question, with regard to the conditions referred to in paragraph 2 of article R. 613-28.

La demande de licence d’exploitation prévue à l’article L. 613-18 (alinéa 4) est adressée au ministre chargé de la propriété industrielle.

Elle indique :

1° Les nom, prénom et profession du demandeur et, éventuellement, le nom de la personne chargée de le représenter ou de l’assister ;

2° Le brevet dont la licence est demandée ;

3° La justification de la qualification du demandeur, du point de vue technique, industriel et financier, pour l’exploitation du brevet en cause, au regard des conditions visées à l’alinéa 2 de l’article R. 613-28.
